Sadly, today is the last show for us on INSight. Indiana’s NewsCenter is making some changes to the show. It was a fun ride and we are so grateful for the opportunity. Don’t worry though, we will continue to share community events and volunteer opportunities via this blog.

Mamma Mia, May 20 at the Embassy
Part of the Broadway at the Embassy series. A musical based on the music of ABBA, a fictional story that incorporates ABBA songs. Tickets are $35-75 and available at the Embassy Box Office or Ticketmaster.com.
BB King, May 22 at the Embassy
Blues legend BB King will hit the Embassy stage. This is a must see show. Tickets are $30-75 and are available at the Embassy Box Office or Ticket master.com.
Eef Barzelay & Tim Rogers, May 23 and May 30 at the offices of One Lucky Guitar
Clem Snide’s Eef Barzelay returns to Fort Wayne to preview songs from the forthcoming Clem Snide record, Songs for Mary. Eef will be joined by Chris Otepka from Heligoats. At Eef’s request, the show is at One Lucky Guitar (or at least in the building we’re in), with no PA…”all naked” as it were. There will be plenty of surprises, and this is a show not to miss. Buy one ticket for both Eef and Tim Rogers of You Am I (May 30) and save! All ages. BYOB. Doors 7:45, show 8:15PM. Tickets are available on Brown Paper Tickets.
The following week, Tim Rogers of Sydney’s You Am I (the world’s greatest rock band) returns to Fort Wayne. Rogers played a memorable show in Fort Wayne in 2006, and has requested this stop on his rare US solo tour. This intimate show will be at 1301 Lafayette. All ages (though mature language is expected). BYOB. Doors 7:45, show 8:30PM. Buy a single ticket and enjoy the May 23rd Eef Barzelay show as well! Tickets are available on Brown Paper Tickets.

Fort 4 Fitness Spring Cycle, May 26 at Headwaters Park
The Fort4Fitness Spring Cycle offers something for everyone. The Tour de Fort Wayne starts and finishes downtown at Headwaters Park and offers three non-competitive options for riders of all ages and skill levels. The options are a short loop of 19.7 miles, a middle loop of 35.2 miles, and a long loop of 45.25 miles. This event is open to riders of all ages and skill levels.
Bike the Fort is a casual, family bike ride through selected downtown Fort Wayne streets that will be closed to vehicle traffic. The route corresponds to the downtown bike route and bike lanes. It starts at Headwaters Park and continues on an approximate 3 mile loop of Berry and Wayne Streets before finishing up back at Headwaters Park. Riders can start at 11:00 am, 11:30 am, Noon, 12:30 pm or 1:00 pm circling the loop multiple times, stopping at local establishments and experiencing all downtown has to offer. This event is also a non-competitive ride, and is open to riders of all ages and skill levels.
Cost is $20 for individuals and $40 for families to participate.
